College football fans wanted a more fair way to judge who is the true number one, and they got it. I must say, I think it worked. We have two NON SEC teams competing for the first National Championship. And that’s a great thing. Now, never fear my SEC Friends. I know that your conference is pretty stinking good. But, after awhile, knowing that an SEC team was going to take home the Championship got a little boring and predictable. Having different conferences represented helps make college football better. And that’s one thing that the Playoff helped. I did have doubts about the committee system, but in the end, I do believe that they got it right. (I know TCU and Baylor fans, I know…but I do think they did) Should they move it to 8 teams? You know what, I don’t think so. Regardless of how many teams you allow in, someone is always going to be upset because they didn’t get in. 4, 8, 16. It doesn’t matter. Lets just leave it at 4.
So, now all that’s left is sitting back, and enjoying tonight’s game. And being thankful that those dumb Dr. Pepper Larry commercials are done!!
